General Parking starts at $32 plus tax for cars, motorcycles, trucks, recreation vehicles and campers.
All water attractions at Adventure Island Tampa are temperature controlled with the exception of Wahoo Run and Everglides. The water temperatures vary by attraction, but typically range between 75–82 degrees Fahrenheit.
Children 13 years and under must be accompanied by an adult while visiting Adventure Island.
They are available for a daily rental fee. You can reserve by calling the park directly.
Yes, the Island Surf Shop features a wide selection of brand-name sportswear, beachwear and other must-have summer items.
Yes, all-day lockers are available for rental at the main entrance, Mango Joe's, and Splash Attack for storage of personal belongings.
No outside food, beverages, or coolers are allowed, except you may bring a bottle of water or a refillable water bottle.
No coolers, regardless of size, will be allowed inside the water park. However, outdoor picnic pavilions are available outside the front gate for cooler use.
Guests may wear swimsuits or shorts, and t-shirts on rides. Aqua socks are permitted on rides and in pool areas. Thong bathing suits are not allowed. T-shirts may not be worn on body flumes. No cut-off and / or frayed shorts are allowed. Clothing with metal trim is also prohibited.
For the comfort and safety of their guests, prohibited items include but are not limited to the following: weapons, knives, alcohol, glass containers (exceptions are made for baby food & medicine), coolers, carts and wagons, tents and canopies, barbecue grills, flotation devices, scuba masks, portable stereos, pets or squirt guns. Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside. No drinks (other than water) may be taken into the park.
Due to the nature and dynamics of all rides and the potential for injury, unsecured cameras or video cameras of any size are not permitted on the rides. To store such equipment, leave with a non-rider or use the lockers that are available.
If your park visit is ruined by the following conditions, you are eligible for a complimentary return visit through the park’s Weather-or-Not Assurance program: 1) Inclement weather causes early closure. 2) Rides are closed for over 60 minutes due to lightning, strong winds, hear, rain or snow. 3) If park temperatures reach a heat index of 110 degrees or above. If your day is impacted by weather, visit Guest Relations before you leave the park to receive a ticket for your return visit. Be aware that policy enactment is at the discretion of Guest Services. You can also visit Adventure Islands’ direct website within one week of your visit date to submit a Weather-or-Not Assurance claim. Refunds are not issued for weather.
In order to ensure their guests' comfort and safety, Adventure Island’s capacity is limited. Admission into the park may be temporarily suspended during the day due to periods of high attendance.
